The CMMS Shoparoo fan base is slowly growing. We are now up to 20 users. In just over a month, this group has earned over 19,000 points. The cards will have different discount offers such as a percentage off certain items or Buy 1, Get 1 free at various businesses in our area. A great evening was had by all who attended our 1st annual CMMS Bowling Night at the Strike Zone!!! Thanks to all our Challengers (and their families) who participated. The evening was filled with music and camaraderie, pizza, soda, candy and, of course, raffles. Each bowler who bowled a strike won a CMMS T-Shirt! Congratulations to our 3 raffle winners (pictured below)…

CALLING ALL BOWLERS….
Tonight is our CMMS Bowling Night at the Strike Zone.!! If you didn’t get your tickets during lunch this week, tickets will be sold at the door. Check-in begins at 6pm and bowling starts at 6:30 pm. Join us for 2 hours of music and fun with our Challenger friends & families!
Tickets are $10 per bowler and includes 2 games, shoe rental, pizza & soda. The evening will conclude at 8:30 pm. We will also be having $1 candy raffles. Other candy & treats will also be available for purchase.
We looking forward to “striking” up a good time – – All are welcome!!
CMMS PTSA has extended our Discount Card Fundraiser until Tuesday, December 3rd. Order forms are available in Student Services. The discounts offered on the card are unlimited usage and are good for one year. Some of the merchants include Subway, Dairy Queen, Boston Market, Cold Stone Creamery, Menchie’s, NYPD 2, Sonic Drive Inn, Mrs. Fields Cookies, Denny’s, Putt-N-Around and Pizza Hut !!! In addition to the local merchants, there is a website on the front of the card that will provide discounts at national businesses. Once you register your card you will be able to shop online at hundreds of large national chains stores such as Petco, Walmart, etc… Get yours today :)
The TOP SELLER will receive a $75 VISA GIFTCARD, the SECOND highest seller will receive a $50 VISA GIFTCARD and the THIRD highest seller will receive a $25 VISA GIFTCARD !!

VOLUNTEERS…PTSA is hosting CMMS Bowling Night this Friday, November 23rd at the Strike Zone. Check-in begins at 6 pm and bowling starts promptly at 6:30 pm (ends at 8:30 pm). Flyers were sent home last week. Tickets are $10 per person and includes 2 hours of bowling, pizza, soda, music and fun with your friends and family. Raffles too, tickets are $1 per ticket! We can use a few extra hands with check-in, food & drinks, lane set-up, chaperoning and clean-up. Thanks so much!!

Earlier today, PTSA officially wrapped up the Enjoy The City coupon book fundraiser! We would like to thank you (parents & staff) for all your efforts in making this a very successful fundraiser! The teacher with the class that sold the most books this year is Mrs. Baughman! Way to go!!! PTSA realizes that her class size is larger than the other classes so, in the interest of fairness, we would also like to acknowledge and congratulate Mrs. Eisenberg who had the second highest selling class. Both teachers will receive a $25 Office Depot gift card. Thank you to all our teachers for your help in tracking the books… your support and hard work is always appreciated!!
FINAL CALL… If your student still has not returned their unsold Enjoy the City Coupon Book to their teacher, it’s not too late. Unfortunately any coupon books not returned will be marked on the student’s “obligations” list. All unsold coupon books need to be returned to the vendor or else that money comes directly out of our pocket. Please, please take a moment to make sure all unsold books have been returned to the school. Thanks for your cooperation!!
Almost 270 ghoulish creatures enjoyed an fun-filled with evening… dancing, photo booth and plenty of treats shared with good friends created plenty of wonderful memories!! The costumes were amazing, creative and funny but a special “Congratulations” goes to our costume contest winners:

Each winner won a gift basket full of goodies and a Cinemark gift card! Congrats, too, to our 2 lucky raffle winners – you know who you are!! Next time we will have to remember to write down their names to give them proper “shout out”! Oops :) Once again, the PTSA Board would like to thank the Mr. Silverman and his administrative team, teachers, staff, parents and student volunteers who pitched in to help. We couldn’t have done it without all of you… A very special “shout out” to the Miss Minerva and her CMMS custodial team who whipped the cafeteria back into shape in no time at all…Thank You!

SHOPAROO???
What in the heck is Shoparoo, you ask? CMMS PTSA is “hopping” with both feet into a new, easy, year-long fundraising event for our school…SHOPAROO!!! Shoparoo has to the easiest fundraiser there is!! It takes less than 5 minutes to install the app and to begin taking pictures of your receipts. All you need is your name and email address, no other personal information is required. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Friends…anyone who shops can submit their receipt with a quick picture and help CMMS earn funds for our school! Any store that sells grocery products; any product. Shoparoo is not limited to certain stores, products or brands. The winner of the pizza party for having the most PTSA members is…. Ms. Leonard’s “Day 2, Period 2” class!! Her class had 12 families join PTSA by the October 11th deadline. Ms. Leonard’s class has earned a Domino’s Pizza Party. Way to go!! Additional shout-outs go to:

The winner of PTSA’s Box Tops for Education Contest is Ms. Cierpik’s 1st period class. Her class collected 336 box tops and earned themselves a Dunkin Donuts party! As the winning teacher, Ms. Cierpik will receive a $20 Cinemark Movie gift certificate. Great job to everyone in that class :) A special shout-out to Ms. Dyson’s and Mr. Goldberg’s classes as well. Their classes brought in 328 and 285 box tops respectively. Thanks to everyone who brought in box tops for this contest and a special thank you to Suzanne Nicolini for overseeing this contest! Job well done!!
