4/29 Wednesday – Faculty/Student Basketball game was postponed to tomorrow at 4:00pm. Tickets will be on sale before school at the flagpole and during lunches Monday-Wednesday for $5.00. Only parents may purchase a ticket at the door.
REMINDER… 8th GRADE DANCE – – TICKETS ON SALE THIS WEEK!!!
“A Night in Hollywood” is this Fri, May 1st, from 6 to 9 pm in the cafeteria. Tickets are $5 & sold during lunch (light refreshments & water). Voting for the dance King & Queen will also take place during the lunch hours. Every 8th grade student may vote, whether they are attending the dance or not!! One voting ballot per student.
Volunteers Needed: We still need help on May 1st – – volunteers (preferably 6th & 7th grade parents) will be needed for set up beginning at 3:30 pm, chaperoning the dance (6 to 9 pm) and clean up (9 to 9:30 pm). If you can help with either, please email us at [email protected].

On April 30, please be on the lookout for a large envelope addressed to “the parent/guardian of your student” from PTSA. Inside is important information on how you can show just how proud you are of your student during their years here at CMMS… again, check those backpacks!!
2015-16 CMMS School Calendar Ads
The response to purchase calendars ads has been great! Many thanks to those who have purchased their ads. Only a few open spots remain… don’t miss the opportunity to advertise to our Challenger families!! Submit your business card size ads ($10 for 1 month, $30 for 5 months and $60 for 10 months) before June 1st. Order forms are available in the main office, Student & Parent Services.

8th GRADE DANCE!!
Invitations have been sent home to all 8th graders for their “A Night in Hollywood” dance. The dance is Fri, May 1st, from 6 to 9 pm in the cafeteria. Tickets are $5 and will go on sale next week, Mon through Fri (April 27 -May 1) during lunch (light refreshments & water). NO obligations or 1’s in conduct. Candy and soda will be available for purchase for $1. DJ, photo booth and the King & Queen will be announced!

MOTHER’S DAY CAKES!!
Mother’s Day Cakes are on sale now!! Cakes are $8 per each and decorating will be on Fri, May 8 during the last period of the day. Order forms are available in the main office, Student & Parent Services. Don’t miss out out on this delicious, sweet treat for Mom, Grandma, Aunt or any other special lady in your life!!
